Equal Trading Inc. is Investigating the Source of the False News

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, Oct 24, 2006 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX) -- Equal Trading Inc. (PINK SHEETS:EQTD), announces that a fake media communication was distributed this morning under the Company's name.

It has come to the attention of Equal Trading's management that information is being distributed about Equal Trading by third parties that is not authorized, sanctioned or paid for by the Company. Equal Trading cautions investors not to rely on such information and Company encourages investors and shareholders to verify news through proper news agencies that disseminates such news. EQTD has not distributed or authorized anybody to distribute any such communication. Company is adding a news feature to its web site where the investors also can check Company's own news for its authenticity.

The fake communication states the Equal Trading is to announce, "Results which have far exceeded expectations. The results from our British Columbia property show 58,000 ounce potential."

Equal Trading cautions investors not to rely on such information and Company encourage investors and shareholders to do proper due diligence to investigate accuracy of any all news releases. Company cautions investors and public to ignore any and all type of email driven fake news that may have been disseminated by any third parties.

Equal Trading is investigating the source of this distribution and once it has more information on the matter, it will take all necessary actions against parties involved.
